I have lived here since March 2005. The maintenance is still pretty good to me, but I live on the same court as the rental office. I don't have a problem with unruly kids, police, etc. There is a huge problem with mice, and it really can't be controlled. It doesn't matter what's going on in your house b/c you have neighbors attached on 2-3 sides of you. I finally got a kitten last year. 2-3 days after we got her, the mice disappeared and have not been back. There is new staff and a new manager at the rental office. The staff is great and courteous. The manager, I'm not so sure about. The few times I've spoken with her, it was very evident she lacked the most basic people skills. I hope she gets better. I've decided this is going to be my last year here. One reason is my rent up $100 this year ($905), and I know I can find something better for the same amount (more or less) in the Owings Mills area where I work. Two, Southwest Academy, my son nor I are happy with it at all. Chadwick elementary was wonderful. Over all, it is a good place, depending where in the complex you live. I would recommend it, but I would also suggest exploring all options before making a decision. I made the choice to be near my brother and his family. Now that's not an issue, so I am exploring my options.
