I heard there was a burglary in one of the apartments on I think ground floor. It happened some time this year not too long ago, perhaps just a few of months ago. Someone broke in and beat up this decent chinese guy and took his few belongings.
When you call up this place, ask the management about it.

A burglary is a terrible thing to endure, but I don't think you should base your recommendation of the community on one incident that you don't even have all the details about. Every neighborhood has its pros and cons. Trust me, burglary or not, that neighborhood is far better than most in the surrounding area. Murders, rapes, and drug dealing are found in almost all the other apartment complexes in the Woodlawn/Security area. Yes, potential renters should consider this into their decision. But it certainly doesn't warrant giving the complex a bad review... a burglary isn't even really Security Park's fault. Unfortunately, it's a part of life... and it could happen to you no matter where you live.
