We have had several problems w/ maintenance, the childrens playgrounds that are advertised are non existent if any person on a higher level complains about people being too loud it is not investigated you just get a warning, there is ALWAYS trash littering the lawns virtually NO PLACE at all for children to play. The dishwasher Almost always has to be run twice and even then the dishes rarely all come out clean. I had a problem with my toilet running and leaking continually and it took maintenance several trips between October and February to get it to stop running... it is now June and still the leak has not been repaired. There are other people who have had the same problems in fact one family moved into the "Luxury" apartment which had a broken sprayer on the kitchen sink and 6 months later this is not repaired the spray nozzle has to be kept in the sink drain to keep from spraying water all over the kitchen. There is absolutely no ventilation in the Bathrooms and if you have your windows open to let in air you get complaints about noise just for having a television. Another couple living here with 3 children had the police called for noise because their 3 yr. old son fell out of bed at 8:30 pm. Management in this place when called and asked why said I'm not dealing with you anymore maybe you should just move. I recently received a notice saying that the radio and television were on overly loud until midnight, kids were running until well after 9 and adults "walked too loudly late into the night" That evening the kids had been sitting on the couch watching a movie from 7:30 pm until 8:45 pm so they obviously were not running around until well after 9. I was the only adult home as my boyfriend did not get home from work until 11:45 p.m. neither the television nor the radio were even turned on. When my boyfriend arrived home (which he OBVIOUSLY HAD to WALK to get into the apartment) he had dinner and we immediately went to bed as he had to be up at 6 the following morning to go back to work so as far as walking too loudly late into the night.... that also did not happen. Another instance we came home in February after being gone for 3 days (and being good tenants even though the heat is included we had turned our heat down to 60 before leaving) we arrived home to NO HEAT WHATSOEVER called maintenance and the office a total of three times that evening with no response called the office twice the next morning Also No Response we did not have heat until 12:30 that afternoon and we NEVER were contacted that they were aware of the problem and that it was being worked on we were never contacted for ANY reason other than for bogus complaints about my children. I also was told by management to "sit my children in front of the television if I had to" to keep them from moving around. another tenant was told by the same building manager that "I sit my 3 kids in front of the tv with a bowl of chocolate maybe you should try that". Otherwise you should move and we'll break the lease and return your security deposit. Actually the first time I had a complaint was The very next day after a new family had moved in beneath us and we were walking too loudly and the kids were too loud (don't use the glass balcony doors, if you talk someone might hear you and complain) despite the fact that we had lived here for a year and a half with no complaints we got a verbal warning from the manager the DAY AFTER these people had moved in. It was NOT INVESTIGATED AT ALL we just got the warning regardless. I would not suggest moving into this apartment complex unless some better management is hired because frankly as long as they get their money they could care less about their tenants. Also the maintenance person is the same person that does all of the winter plowing and sanding so god forbid if something happens in the winter because you can forget EVER seeing him and when he does show up it will take SEVERAL trips to finish the job if it ever does get completed.
