Best place in the area, and for the right price.

The apartments are large, with PLENTY of closet space (even in the 1-bedrooms) and kept up very well. We had a problem with a dishwasher last year and it was replaced the next day. Sometimes we have no water, or no hot water, but only for a couple hours before it is back, and no water is because of the town draining the fire hydrants on college ave, not because of the apartment complex. Rent is on the cheaper side, electricity and cable/internet are the only other costs. Electricity is between $30 and $70/month. Very low crime from what I hear of, and not a big party complex if you consider other complexes in the area. The only thing I would complain about is the laundry facility. It used to be affordable at $.75 to $1.25 for wash and $.50 for dry and it just went up to $1.25 to $4.00 (yes, $4.00) for wash and $1.75 dry. This would be understandable if they would fix the 4 different washers that are out of order. You have to time it right too. Sunday night is impossible to find an open machine. But I guess I could go to a laundromat. Overall, this has been by far the best, and most affordable place I have lived while going to school at UMO. Neighbors can be noisy, but you will find that anywhere.
