I lived here for two years, had the largest apartment in the building, 10th floor, with the large terrace. If you have lived in other (large) cities, this is the closest thing to a high end place you are going to (at least at the time) going to fine in Portland. We had 2000 sq ft inside, with glass walls, 3 bedrooms (we used 2 as bedrooms and one as an office, with 2 full bath. We had it right before they remodeled the building. Older appliances, and the carpet had not been replaced. Overall, though, great place to live. We had a 1200 sq ft terrace, with 3 large sliding glass doors opening out to it. We never had to use the AC, all summer, and have had over 100 people up there for parties. the unit also had a separate covered balcony, and was truly fantastic. Opening the glass walls and letting the cross winds through was great. The view was of all of back bay and you could even see Mt Washington. Good gym downstairs, with an indoor pool to boot. Security was very good, easy to work with, and, though a little strict, always had the resident's interests in mind. I would reccomend it without a question! Also, Amy, the manager, is one of the nicest, kindest, most understanding people I've met, and was always cool if rent was a few days late. Parking, at 75 a month, beats parking on the street, and while sometimes a little snow might get on the car, it was never an issue.
