When we first moved into our apartment the grounds were kept up pretty well. Over the years, and as Gary became a true slum lord thing took a turn for the worst. The common areas no longer were cleaned and it was at least 3 weeks before they were vacuumed if they were vacummed at all. Outside the grounds became an ashtray because the containers to hold the cigarette butts were removed and nobody cared to pick them up. It took 1.5 weeks for them to come fix my leaky sink, and 3 calls to get my dishwasher fixed--which should of been replaced since it relocated the food on my dishes instead of cleaning them. We call it our dish sloshers. The snowplowing used to be decent but cost savings made them come only when you couldn't get out of the parking lot. Then on the days that would be a good scraping day, they didn't come to scrape, so when it froze you had huge inverted potholes. When you are living there and decide to move out they do not give you a notice to come show your apartment, they just come or call you 10 minutes before they plan on arriving or leave a message on your answering machine. So you have no time to clean up or prepare for them cause you are at work. When I gave my notice they started showing my apartment the first day of the month, and told me to hurry up because they had somebody already to move in though I still had 29 days of my lease. I never knew someone was in such a hurry to get into my dump to live in squalor. I wished I could have know who they were so I could warn them! Stay away from Sludgeslinger apartments. PS, watch out for mildew and black mold you'll find it if you look. My health has gotten better since I've moved.
