I currently live at Olde English Village. The location is great. The grounds are very nice. I've lived in 2 of their buildings and they are like night and day. Friendliness and "quality" of the neighbors varies from building to building. However, both buildings I've lived in the appliances are ridiculously dated. For the rent they charge they need to do some improvements inside the buildings, not just to the grounds. Bugs weren't an issue at the first building, but they're horriffic in my new apartment! The halls smell terrible much of the time, are only dimly lit, and the carpets are disgusting. The washers & dryers in the buildings only work half the time and need to be replaced badly. The staff in the rental office could be a tad more friendly, but the maintenance staff are great! It's kinda nice to have a pool though, even if it isn't heated...
