Units are uninsulated (up to $200 a month to heat during the winter), plumbing is iffy (needed a new toilet and new pipes in sinks in the first six months), and though the property staff is very helpful, there are just too many problems with these apartments to be worth it. Neighbors are generally messy (trash on the lawn, old cars in driveways, laundry left outside for months), though quiet.
