Equity Residential Properties Management Corp manages this property. They have 5 properties in the Portland, ME area. You should review the Ratings and Reviews at the other locations to get a feel for the company. The company is a national company and owns many more properties as well, but here are the other Maine locations so that you can consider other tenants opinion?s at the additional locations. In Yarmouth Maine there is The Junipers at Yarmouth and Yarmouth Woods. In Scarborough they have Coach Lantern and Foxcroft. In Portland they have Tamarlane. I would encourage you to research all the feedback they have received at all these locations.

If you even think about moving into an Equity property in the Portland ME area, keep this in mind. You signed a lease for a year with the understanding that if you decide to terminate early you will own a month and a half of rent (aka the "Settlement"). You signed the lease. The problem is that the mis-management never addresses the problems that drive the well behaved and respectful tenants to break their leases early. They could give a rats ass about your concerns. If you decide to stiff Equity for the "settlement" monies, they have the will and the means to come after you. Don't risk trashing your credit rating. If you do decide to rent from any of the Portland area Equity properties, best have an extra $1,500-$2,000 in your checking account (this includes the security deposit) to terminate your relationship with this property. And believe me, this will in all likelihood occur.
