Hmm where to start' When we first moved in the head manager and her evil sidekick were super friendly. After we signed the lease and started moving in they became unfriendly and could care less about anything but money. The maintenance man is horribly rude too and won't fix anything he is very unprofessional looking and he is lazy. We moved in and we brought along our dog but soon after we decided to adopt this super nice orange cat that was a stray and we told the manager and her evil sidekick several times about having this cat. After about 7 months of having the cat they finally wrote up papers for the cat. They also told us that our friend could move in with us he just needed to sign our lease and he needed to get a background check. About three months later they told us that we had to kick him out because they didn't know we had a 1 bedroom house. Funny thing is they should have looked at our file before they gave the ok. Our friend had no place to live, no job, and nothing but the clothes on his back. So my fiance went to talk to the evil sidekick who acted like she didn't care that he had to live in the street. She however is rich and stuck up and is marrying a man who joined the army so big deal if our friend had to live in the street because she didn't. She also is very stuck up. It is almost rare that you actually find someone in the office to talk to. Also when you are in the office trying to talk to the members of management they will answer personal calls and do things for other people. In December I went down to the leasing office to talk to one of the managers and they made me stand outside in the cold for ten minutes before they even invited me in(they didn't even have another resident in the office). Then around that same time maybe a month before a leak sprouted on the landing before the third floor in building A1-A12 and my fiance and I kept having to tel them there was a leak. Each time all they would do is paint over the mold and water stains. Now it is March and for the last two weeks that is has rained they wouldn't do anything about the leak. The water got into the carpet and it smells moldy and mildewy in the hall. All they did about it this time was take a wet vac to the floor. So finally I called the head office, the Adrian city council, and the Health Department.I haven't heard back from them but I will call them again today. The smell is so bad that our friend who they told us we had to kick out a couple of days ago has asthma keeps getting very ill from the smell. On top of that the halls always smell like Marijuana. The laundry rooms are a nightmare. It takes like $4.00 to do one load of laundry if your lucky. The people below us get into screaming matches and throw things at each other and are constantly loud. The neighbors across the hall play their music really loud at all hours of the day and night. The parking lot was supposed to be fixed last summer but all they did was patched it up like putting band-aids over the holes. People let their children run around like monkeys. There are always this one couple who makes out at the end of the staircase leading to the dog walking area. The residents never pick up after their dogs and leave rude notes on the doors about it. The parking lot is crappy in the winter time and it takes a lot to get your car unstuck from all of the snow. They also plow your cars in with the snow truck. Not only that but someone smashed their car door into mine and now I have a huge dent and red paint all over my pretty blue jeep. People get into fights in the parking lot in the middle of the night all of the time. They use profanity really loud. This place is horrible don't waste your time, energy, or money especially if you have a family. This is not a family oriented place and they are very unfriendly. Trust me it is as bad as I say it is. I can't wait until my lease is up in August. This whole experience has made renting an apartment a horrible nightmare for me, that my fiance and I aren't going to rent again we are going to start looking for an actual house. I even talked to the evil side kick about wanting to get a two bedroom apartment here until she told us we had to kick out our friend. Then when she called me I told her don't worry about finding a two bedroom for us we are leaving as soon as our lease is up and she said well give us a months notice and I told her well here is my 5 months notice that we won't come back here. Just take my advice and DO NOT rent from Woodbury Estates.

I would have thought that this would have gotten better since we moved out almost a year ago, but it sounds like everything is the same old same old. I'm sorry you are going through the same stuff we are, this place is horrendous. TAKE THE ADVISE ANYONE, NEVER LIVE HERE!!!
