I've lived at Arbor Hills for three years and like it. Sure, they're older buildings and a bit dull, but they're quiet and pleasant--soundproofing is better than in many more expensive places. Close to shopping; close to buses; close to freeways. There are occasional maintenance problems in 40-year-old structures, but I've always found them quickly and politely attended to. Top-floor units have nice views and light but are a bit toasty in summer--roof insulation is very good, and window A/C doesn't quite hack it. The bugs another reviewer referred to are box elder beetles from nearby trees--they are around for a few weeks and are harmless and kind of cute. We are not talking cockroaches here.
