Expensive but very, very nice.

The grounds are beautiful, with a pond and lots of rabbits and geese. The clubhouse is nice, too, with an outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, and exercise room. The staff is courteous and responsive to maintenance calls. I had a no heat call once, at 9 pm, and a technician was there within two hours. There's plenty of parking. The complex is right next to I-94, but I never heard traffic noise inside my apartment.
The down sides:
- Price. This is an expensive place to live given that it's kind of on the outskirts of town.
- The water heater is electric, instead of gas, adding to the expense of living here. The furnace is gas, however.
- With the geese comes goose poop. They also get kind of terretorial in the spring.
- The complex isn't really walking distance from anything. You end up driving everywhere.
- The layout of the complex means it's a bit of a walk to the parking lot. Not a big deal when the weather is nice, but a bit annoying when it's raining.

You will hear noise from I-94 but after a while it just blends into the background.
The maintenance is pretty hit-and-miss as far as response, but usually not more than four days, depending on the call. When they do come they usually try to resolve it the first time, a mostly they do.
The ducks are nice the geese really make a mess in the Spring.
