As most of you know, Ann Arbor is a very desirable place to live, and it is getting very crowded. But Arbor Landings is set back from the busy streets and is a very private and intimate experience. The staff is not in the least bit rude or "stuck up", the woman that gave us our tour was exceptionally nice and had a wonderful smile. Also when you move in you get a complementary cutting board and knife, and a cute little card welcoming you to Arbor Landings. The lake is a plus, with all the interesting otters, beavers, ducks, and geese. And I even saw a stork! Wonderful wildlife, and an organized parking area. The grass is kept decently clean (just watch out for duck droppings) and dog messes are a very rare site (I havent seen any since I moved in during late 2006!). And yes, they have fitness rooms, a clubhouse, wonderful pool, and even a spa! Overall... Arbor Landings is a wonderful and relaxing place to live and I love it here, even though it is not the cheapest. It is also close to entertainment and shopping such as The Quality 16 Movie Theater, Kmart, Radio Shack, Golden Panda Chinese Restaraunt and much more!
P.S: It even has wireless internet!

There are no storks or otters in Ann Arbor, no beavers in the "lake", Golden Panda burnt down, there is dog crap everywhere, and I'm not sure what you mean by "intimate". The complex is aesthetically boring, and maintenance stinks (which is a problem given all of the troubles we've had with appliances, leaks in the ceiling, insects, etc). For the love of God, do not move in here!

Wow. I am looking at apts currently, and jeez, this sounds like Management wrote this review. And I don't even live there!! If someone was that pleased with their apt, they would't be telling you about the smiling leasing agents or the welcome card they got when they moved in. I would think they would tell you WHY they liked their place.... Like if the building seems well built (ie: good insulation, no leaks, etc) or that the appliances are new(er) or the layout is nice.
Who gives a ---- about the geese and the Kmart and Radioshack. I can't see myself saying, "Wow, I have to live here, there is a RADIOSHACK down the street!!" C'mon, these are the things people care about!! Tell me about your experience with maintenance, or if your carpet was in good shape when you moved in, or if you have a hard time finding parking at night, or if you feel safe (ie: sketchy people hanging around, break-ins, etc)
Don't bother if you are going to just tell me about the ------- geese. If I cared about geese, I'd go to a park to see them.
