When I moved in, the office staff was different. They were extremely friendly and helpful and I never had a problem. Over time, though, they changed. They were much less helpful and more unresponsive. My particular apartment was fairly well-maintained. Not fancy, but not run down either. When I had problems, maintenance came to fix it pretty quickly. The only problem I had was one time when I dropped off a rent check in person, and they must have lost it because they told me I didn't pay rent that month. I was charged a fee. It only happened once, but still it was pretty unsettling. Overall, an ok (not great, not bad) company, especially in a town of scam-landlords like Ann Arbor.
