First of all, all the roads in the whold complex are called "Waymarket Dr." Good luck getting Taxi's or Pizza's! I was on the 3rd floor and still had $300 heating bills (even though we were FREEZING) because the windows are so chincy and cheap and you can feel the breeze without even having them open. Anything the neighbors cook...the smell comes right into our apartment. That goes for cigarette smoke too. They told us if it was unbearable we could get an air filter put in, and we never got it... There is never enough parking, I have had to park my car a couple of streets over and walk home in the middle of the night and in the cold. The maintenence guys are really nice, but they "fix" everything as cheaply as possible, and as temporary as possible. The great washer and drying you think you are getting' They RUN, but the washer puts holes in your clothes and the dryer' To dry 3 pairs of jeans it would take 2.5 hours. NO EXAGGERATIONS HERE. We paid more for these apartments thinking we were getting a great amount of amenities and we got screwed. They will say the washer and dryer and dishwasher "work" because they run, but they definately don't work well. Our dishes were hand washed and our clothes were taken to the laundry mat! Also, when they repaint the apartments between tenants, they just spray everything down so there is paint all over the hinges, air vents (don't open or close...), etc. Didn't have a problem with noise, but I would trade a rock band below me for a dryer, parking spot, dishwasher, etc. It also seems like they are mowing the lawn from dawn til dusk in the summer time...very annoying and loud. Also, highway noise is unbearable. The location is the only plus.

Sounds to me that the problems are no different than anything I have experienced at a number of other places...
