I know in my case, we had to move fast and ended up signing a lease with Briar Cove before we had checked out other places in the area. I regret it beyond belief. This place is so outdated, dirty, and falling apart. first of all, the maintenance is a joke, they "fix" everything with super glue and tape or they spray paint over blemishes. I actually peeled off a piece of scotch tape that had been painted over on the wall! the kitchen is nasty. outdated appliances- when I moved in, the dishwasher has spokes that were falling off and rusted. the cabinets are gross and all have some weird primer that's been sprayed/painted over them- they look dingy.
Staff- don't give a ---- about the residents- there is one girls who works in the office that has the worst attitude and obviously hates her job. They have promised to call whenever the maintenance man was going to come to the apartment and this has never happened. Another thing- there is a SERIOUS ISSUE with bugs- particularly spiders- they are everywhere- I have tried everything! The rent is way to high here for the crap that you get and you are much better looking elsewhere- I honestly hope that someone in management reads these reviews, because it is just unacceptable. I wish I could get out my lease early. Oh yeah, and the parking is a huge issue, don't expect to get a space near your home. Also, did you know that you will be responsible for all utilities' Water, trash, electric, gas' the water and trash bill is another 40 bucks on top of your rent, plus the electric and gas- your looking at alot of money. you've been warned, don't rent here. I know that we will be very happy when our lease is up. And to top it all off, my husbands bike was stolen within the first week of renting here...nice.
