I've been here for several years and know many other people who have been here for a lot longer than I. This is a great place to live overall. There are a lot of people moving in/out in the summer and I figure that has something to do with this being a college town. All my neighbors get along and respect each other. There have been a few bad apples over the years and I'm sure there will always be those loser neighbors who get on my nerves in one way or another. Parking can be tight, especially on weekends when EVERYONE is home, plus an overnight guest or two (did I mention this is a college town?!). The scenery is stunning and unlike any other apartments in Ann Arbor. They actually have a Nature Preserve with trails and BBQ grills! I have friends and family over every summer to cook out. My husband fishes in the ponds by the Clubhouse and he said saw deer in the preserve. There is some staff turnover but I hear that people got promoted or graduated school so they moved on. I've heard about car break-ins so I called the Pittsfield Police to find out what's going on. They said it was personal property being stolen, especially if they left CDs or a laptop in the car. We don't do that so we haven't had any problems. Oh, and there were a couple cars taken and the Police said the thieves were targeting certain makes/models. As far as noise goes, well, you're in an apartment, not a vault. So you will hear music, mainly on weekends (did I mention this is a college town?) but it's not out of control. People have to live!
