I moved into Glencoe Hills about a year ago and they seemed the nicest place at the time. They still are not the worst place to live, but I ran into a lot of annoying problems.
The door to my apartment kept jamming when I first got here, and one night something broke on it and locked me in! I had to call emergency maintenance to have someone get me out. They replaced the knob, but now it will not stay shut without locking it.
The door to the building has several problems. The buzzer does not work, our dishwasher and disposal have both broken.
As far as size and pricing, it is decent. We have a 970 sq ft 1 bedroom that we are getting for 640, without utilities.

We have also had a lot of problems with the staff in the main office. We are constantly getting letters saying that we owe them money, only to go down there and find out it was a computer glitch or they themselves did not take out the rent from the direct deposit bank account. I'm not sure this is something I would recommend for the price.
