Poor insulation and carpeting

I lived at Ironwood Place 4 years during which I've had to change apartments and have the carpeting and washer replace. All of these changes took Herculean efforts for which I did not appreciate. I won't go into detail but I will say that with regards to the carpeting, cat urine from the previous tenant was involved. During the winter, my heating bill was well over $200 which is ridiculous considering the apartment was only 1000sq ft. This was due to the windows and doors being incredibly drafty. Upon move-in to both apartments, neither were clean. However upon move-out, the expectation is that the unit will be clean.
