The complex is very nice, the grounds are kept up very nicely and overall it's a very nice area of Ann Arbor to live in, very peaceful at night. The apartment's are spacious, the second floor units offering cathedral ceilings, optional fireplaces, washer and dryer in unit, attached bathrooms, ect. The only complaints that I really have are that in the winter, our apartment was so incredibly cold, we tried sealing the windows, hanging blankets in front of the doors, almost everything imaginable to keep the apartment warm, nothing worked, we had days where even though the heat was going, our thermostat registered 50 degrees inside of the apartment. Our heating unit had majoy problems and would short out and stop blowing hot air, but still be running and using up gas. Our gas/electric bill for this winter was about 260$ monthly and we had to have maintance come at least 20 times to keep fixing the heat. Don't get me wrong though, the maintance team is very good and does their job very well, it's a problem with their insulation and outdated heating units. In the summer months, even with all windows and patio doors open, it still get's unbearably hot in the apartment, also when the air is on, it seems to only cool the living room efficiently, both bedrooms stay muggy. Another downfall of this complex is the parking. I couldn't tell you how many night's I would get home around midnight and have to park three buildings away from my apartment because there simply were no available spaces. Get some event going like the superbowl or someone having a party, and good luck finding a spot in the complex.
Great staff, albeit sometimes hard to get a hold of. Very friendly and accomidating with a great maintance man.

I would highly suggest this complex, but be warned, prepare to pay much more than you expect to because of the heating/cooling issues, also prepare to have to walk a bit to find parking when you get home later on at night.
