my favorite in Ann Arbor

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2009
I've lived in and visited countless Ann Arbor apartments over the past eight years, and for the past three years, I've been glad to have found Ironwood Place. Here's a list of some of the highlights of living at Ironwood Place:
*Convenience and Quietness - close to bus lines and grocery shopping, but just off the major roads - so it's a nice mix of convenient and quiet.
*Extras in the apartments - some features of the apartments that I really enjoyed: private entrances to each apartment give the apartment a more private feel. Washer/Dryer in each unit is also so nice to have! Also liked other details like the window seats and walk-in closets.
*Responsive maintenance and personable staff. Maintenance was always handled in a reasonable amount of time and notes were kept to describe how the maintenance issue was resolved. Laura and Todd are easy-going and pleasant to work with.
*Apartments generally have better natural lighting than others. There are large windows in the apartments so a lot of sunlight makes it in. Lots of other apartments just feel dark and cavernous to me so I really appreciated this about Ironwood Place.
The only negative note about the apartments for me is the insulation. Gas bills in the winter can be really high (and I'm pretty frugal about setting the temperature and putting on extra clothes). Still, bills are only marginally higher than at other places and Ironwood Place is significantly more attractive to me. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
