Affordable and quiet

My experience with the apartment complex has been a mix of good and bad. The application process was a bear, but worth it for the price. It is a nice secluded area and everyone I have met there is nice. It is usually quiet, though the children like to be outside a lot. They are not distractingly loud or out late, just kids being kids.
The complex recently changed management, and it has been difficult to determine the new office hours. The previous management had longer hours for those of us that work all day and had Saturday hours as well. It is unclear what the new office hours are, and it is hard to arrive home after work before everyone is gone. However, when I have spoken with the new office staff, they are kind and helpful.
Another issue I have had is that there are a few things that need to be fixed and they have not been adequately done or even done at all. I am still waiting for a confirmation of what needs to be done and when for some of the projects. The maintenance has always been a little shady here. One guy quit a few months ago because he got tired of fixing other people's stuff. It is hard to determine if they are understaffed in this area or the staff is not as knowledgable as they need to be.
I do like the apartments, minus a few downsides and would encourage people to move in, keeping these things in mind.
