How should i start. OH i know. We put a 2nd floor apartment on "Hold" and signed a lease. We were given the keys and come to find out, it was a third floor. Ok, we'll make it work. Then we found out that the dishwasher and gas stove was also a lie. Security would have to be my #1 concern here. The first week we moved in, a man threatened a group of children that he would kill them if they came close to his car(ford focus, not like its worth killing for). He claimed that the kids pulled his fake spinner hub caps off his car(again, not really worth killing kids over is it'). The cops were called. speaking of cops, I see cops just about every night out here. I guess you can see that as a good thing or a bad. The doors to the building have been broke, and do not lock since ive been here. My roommate had some things stolen from his car. Luckily no major items have been stolen yet, but that's always a concern. There are people in and out of the apartments at all hours of the day/night. They will sit in their cars in the parking lot for HOURS. Large groups of people will be "hanging out" out side apartment buildings. I always feel the need to walk my girlfriend to her car when she leaves. Now the noise! Just recently woken up at 6am to LOUD bass/music from not one, but two apartments. I work the afternoon shift and don't get to bed until 2-3am! Music playing sometimes til 4am as well. Had a person pull up in front of the apartment and honk for 30 mins straight. This was at 1am! If they haven't come out on the first few honks, what makes you think they'll hear the next 200'!'!'!'! GET OUT OF THE CAR AND RING THEIR APARTMENT! Also, at 2am, had a lady outside screaming at the top of her lungs for 20 mins for someone to let her into the apartment! . All this was just in the last few weeks! I guess what im getting at is the people who live here don't care about you or your peace and quite. Parking is ok for the most part, other then the cars that have been ticketed 5 times for no tags or expired tags, and haven't been driven in months/years. Evergreen goes around bimonthly and puts some bright orange stickers on the windows, stating move em off the property, renew em, or sell em or they will be towed. The people will remove the stickers and nothing ever comes of it. And dont bother complaining about the cars. All that follows is more stickers and empty threats of removal. Im guessing 20-30 cars within evergreen are not driven at all and or are abandoned. I can look out my front window and count 3-4. In a nut shell, go elsewhere! the apartments are old, drafty, and not very secure. The people for the most part are rude and LOUD. Much better can be found
