It's cheap because there is so much crime that current residents are all leaving.
I've been broken into. They want to charge you a ton more to renew (new residents would pay 499 and they expect me to renew for 645!).
Someone in my building go their door kicked in.
The office staff can be pretty rude.
Any repair that is not considered an emergency will not be repaired. (I've had to live without a towel rack for months, torn screens on the windows, broken blinds, etc)
Children generally run wild on the property and they've totally invaded the pool.
The cheap price is not worth it if you value your safety.
