Not worth it!

The rent seems reasonable for the area, but coupled with the SUPER HIGH energy bill (2-3x all other apts I have lived in) and no upkeep, it is not a good deal. The front office IS run by idiots. The AC was broke in the exercise room for months before it was fixed. We repeatedly had to ask for them to pick up all the broken glass in the parking areas and on the tennis courts, and gave up after awhile. They never once changed our filters, our neighbors and ourselves had mold on our walls, which they never came to fix. When we moved in, our carpets were dirty and stained. When we would call the office, they seemed reluctant to be helpful and often didn't ever want to get off their butts. You need to call at least a few times to hope anything gets done. Our front door lock would always stick, to the point that sometimes we couldn't get inside. We would call for maintenance, and after a few days, they would come and put charcol on it. It would be fixed for about 2 days and stick again. We had two bent keys and one night at 11pm in which we couldn't get in to our apt. and they still refused to get us a new lock. Ridiculous.
The water bill is divided up by those in your building, which isn't fair. Even if you conserve, you still will be paying $40/month will all their fees. Definately NOT luxurious living. Also, there were alot of cars being broken into.
