After living in Island Drive, I can confidently say that Medical Center Court is just plain better to live in. I really liked living here, despite the small kitchen area and troubles with parking. I moved to Island Drive because my roommate wanted to pay less rent, but I would've been happy to live here for more years. The bedrooms are very spacious, and it was nice to have two air conditioners. The only problem that I had with the place was that they started charging for trash/water/etc, but I would've remained living here if my roommate had wanted to stay. The fitness center is much better than Island Drive, and they actually service the machines once in awhile. It's not the most amazing place to live, but it's much better than the alternative if you want to live close to the med center. The maintenance staff were actually the best part about the place... and I only had to call one time in the entire two years that I lived there. And the maintenance guys showed up within two hours of my non-emergency call.
