This complex didn't seem to be too bad until one day I noticed an earwig by the door. If you don't know what they are, they're the long black bugs with two long stingers at each end. The next day there was a lot more. Then they were dropping from the ceiling, in the cupboards, between the sheets of my bed, EVERYWHERE. I had called maintence the second day that I noticed them, which was a Monday. They said it'd be a week before the exterminator got there. I happened to go into the room at the back of the building (where the back door is, under the back staircase), and it seems that the water heater for the building had been leaking for some time. It was like the bug scene in ndiana Jones - the walls were MOVING. I know that other tenants had problems and were complaining. By Wenesday, my husband and I had moved out to a friends. We informed Phesant run that we wouldn't be paying rent for the period that we weren't living there, and that we wanted them to put us up in a hote. They had the exterminator there the NEXT DAY. They didn't care until we threatened them with nonpayment and told them that we were getting a lawyer. It was TERRIBLE. We lived without all of the other repairs that needed to be done - thier maintence was both slimy and incompetent.
A HORRIBLE place to live.
