Not too bad all things considered.

I have lived here for over 15 months, and have had some problems as any place that's 30 years old would have. Bugs: when I first moved in there were ants like many others have written about, but the worst were the cockroaches due to the residents that lived upstairs and across from us. Filthy people in both apartments. Thank God they both got job offers back in India. The halls don't wreak of Curry and the bug problem has all but completely gone away now. The front office staff got the exterminator out within 2 days and they came back repeatedly to check on the success of their measures. They also retiled the bathroom, and replaced the tub in the past few months which completed the renovations of my unit. As for people complaining about the washers and dryers I guess thay are just too dumb to notice the sign that clearly states that they are owned by a separate company other than Pheasant Run and that if there is a service related problem there is a number on both the washer and dryer to call for repairs. Also a suggestion for people looking to move in. Talk to your potential neighbors and get input on the noise levels and how decent the other neighbors are. If you are a quiet person then get an upstair unit. If you are into partying it up now and then get a downstairs unit, but hope that the people above you don't run and jump at all hours of the night. The people above me are quiet, well at least the wife and child is, but the husband weighs about 150 pounds but stomps when he walks. He's also annoying as hell too. I swear he purposely turns on and off the hot water when either me or my fiance' are in the shower. The workout room, tennis, court, pond and two pools are a very nice incentive to stick around also! Not too shabby since most places with such amenities are priced well over the 1000 a month range. It's close to Briarwood and Meijers also a bonus. Also very important spend the extra 10 bucks a month for a carport for each vehicle in the apartment, otherwise on a Friday or Saturday night you will end up parking as far as 6 buildings away. I had 2 vehicles and my fiance had 1 so I ended up getting 2 spaces, after a month of walking a long distance to and from my vehicle each day. I have not once had any vandalism problems, but I have seen many vehicles get backed into from people that got their driver's licenses from out of country. In the winter walk gingerly on the barely salted walks and even more so on the feebly plowed roads and unplowed or unsalted carports. That is the one written complaint I gave Tyner is that if I or my fiance' fall and hurt ourselves they will pay for any medical bills we have.

But all in all it's not a bad place. I have lived several other places such as Randolph Court, Spice Tree and Spruce Knob, so far this has been the best overall for me. Do your research though talk to potential neighbors, because each building is different. Also get to know the staff it goes a very long way when you take a little extra effort. So as you can see there have been problems, but generally things get taken care of pretty quickly. Good luck in your hunt.
