I cannot state strongly enough how POOR the management and maintenance staff truly are. Maintenance is shoddy, at the very best. I repair most items at my own cost because I know that I can repair anything better than any one of their maintenance crew.
Two times maintenance snaked the drain in a neighbor's apartment, only to overflow raw sewage into my apartment via the toilet, lavatory, and bath tub. When the maintenance guy came to investigate, he flushed my toilet and said it worked, but that the cleanup was not his work, that he was not a janitor. Then he trapsed through raw sewage and back through my apartment. I eventually took them to court for this and settled.

Security was an issue when the front building entrance door lock solenoid remained energized for months, allowing entry to anyone at will. They took bushes out from the front when two guys hid in them with a gun and tried to overtake a tenant (2000, I believe).

Work requests go completely ignored, until you withold rent, and the send you a letter with intent to evict, which results in more letter-writing to get services performed.

As I write, my AC condensor is inoperable, and has been since Sept. 2003 (9 months). I doubt that repair will occur anytime soon, either.

Bottom line, don't sign a lease...you will regret doing so.
