This place is horrible, it does have reasonable prices and you do get a lot of space for Ann Arbor but the place sucks, I'd rather give in on some space rather than not have things fixed or running properly.

I moved in this apartment in Nov 2005, I have been complaining of the heating since I moved in, their furnace doesnt heat the entire apartment, if you only plan on sleeping in the living room, you're okay!

Central air doesnt work at all, I've been complaining about that for the last 3 weeks and not one person has come to take a look at it.

There are 3 ways to get things fixed here.

1. Do it yourself

2. Go into the leasing office a couple times daily and call.
3. Call their corporate office, a refusal to pay rent letter works there too.

Safety wise I don't seem to have any problems, my neighbors in my building are all nice and seem to keep to their self.

The office staff are rude when you go in and complain about things not working and heaven forbid you want them fixed. Just this week I was placed on hold when I called there and was on hold 15 mins without them picking back up, I live close to the leasing office so I walked over there and was told that they "forgot" about me being on hold, because they seem to think prospective residents **looking** at apartments are more important than their residents living there who pay their rent and contribute to the office staffs paychecks.

The maint crew are all nice but seem to either lack the knowledge or means to fix things.

This is what my experience there was like. Putting your rent into escrow is a very good idea--and don't feel threatened when they start talking eviction. (The courts agree: Disputed rent is not delinquent rent.)

This is very true and the heat thing still stands. I thought that I maybe didnt turn it on and when I went out to the living room, it was VERRRYYYY hot...
