Pheasant Run Apartments are pretty nice. I have not had any real issues or problems. I also agree with the last reviewer. There are like 500 units at this complex and only 20 people write on this website that they are unhappy and complain. That is a good percentage really, like 1% of the tenants are not satisfied. Most happy people are not going to bother to even go on the website. I stumbled across it when looking for something else.
The office staff and maint are pretty good. The pools are nice. I used the gym the other day, machines are in ok shape, they do the job.
I have a child starting kindergarten next fall and the school is literally right across the street and so happens to be one of Ann Arbors best public elementary schools. I did my research before I moved in here and I have to say that for the price and location you will not find anything better.
I work for a large property management company, so I am very familiar with this business and how things should and should not be. When people call my office and ask what is a good deal in Ann Arbor (my company is only in Ypsi),I always mention Pheasant Run. I have been here for almost 10 months and I have not had any issues or complaints with the office staff or the maint. department. Vicky and Pat, who are in the office, are most helpful. Pat has been here a long time and knows what she is doing. I hope to stay a least another year, if not longer. I am happy to call this place home.

You make the presumption that 1% of the tenants post here equals 1% of the tenants who are dissatisfied. Do you believe that everyone who is dissatisfied knows about this site and posts? Additionally, do you know what happens to the tenants who are really dissatisfied? They turn themselves into non-tenants--thus lowering the percentage of dissatisfied people. I lived there, that was my experience, as it was with every last one of my friends who lived there.

There's no school across the street and this is actually the poorest part of Ann Arbor..the schools over here are ok but not the best. And they're only ok becuase Ann Arbor has a good school system

There is a school in the subdivision across the street and it is very good and not only poor people go there. Also most happy people are not going to this site to say good things. So most that are on the site are unhappy. I feel too that only unhappy people complain. That goes for many other complexes that are reviewed on this site. Funny how 734homeowner said no one they know had a good experience at the complex becuase no one I know has had a bad one. All of my neighbors are happy and have lived at the complex for 2 or more years. SO must not be all that bad. I think what it comes down to is that some people expect a champagne apartment with a beer price. The old addage is true you get what you pay for. Its not the greatest place but believe me it is not the worse either.
