Watch out for the clause in your lease that says that they can change utility terms during your lease, they will.

Parking is a nightmare, too many cars and not enough spots, people park in my carport and the office won't talk with the offenders--they tell me to take care of it

Apartment was in terrible shape when I took over the lease, but not things that could be fixed. For instance, they painted over bugs, lint and dirt, so they are in the walls forever. The blinds are dirty, torn and different sizes

People don't curb their dogs so you have to watch where you step.

Water isn't metered, so you pay a 'mystery amount' each month.

I have had problems with my rent being applied accurately--I have had to bring cashed checks in to prove that I paid.

The appliances are dented, old and don't have an outside vent.

Bedrooms by stairs are incredibly noisy, I wake up a few times a week as elephants storm the stairs.

I will finish by saying that maintenance staff is great.
