Every place is going to have it's problems...but overall I was happy with my choice.

My apartment is big, location is perfect (right by the MALL!! and everything you need is right around the corner, also 10 min from UM Central Campus)the appliances work well, neighbors keep to themselves, maintenance staff is on top of things, I haven't had any problems with the management (James in the office is very nice) and I feel safe and "at home" here. I am pretty much satisfied...but if I had to complain...here is what I'd say...

-My apt is below the staircase leading up to others and when people are walking (or running) up the stairs it's very loud. So, when people are talking and stumbling upstairs drunk at 3am...you will wake up...it sounds like someone banging on your walls real hard and the light fixtures even shake!!!

-The gym is small, and there is only one of everything...even only one treadmill...so if you want to use a certain machine you may have to wait. If you don't mind waiting though it's no big deal.

-Parking is horrible...especially in the evening. I have a carport so not much of a problem for me, but if you do have visitors...they are not allowed to even park close to the apartments...they are supposed to park down the street or at the clubhouse and walk. It's a pain when you have a lot of things/groceries to carry in!

Lastly, the apartment is pricey, but I guess this is Ann Arbor and quite a large apartment. I think it's worth being comfortable and safe.
