POOR! Provided me MISLEADING INFORMATION all the way until my move-in...

Spice tree is misleading to their tenants. I requested one of their apartments with paid utilities as my top priority. I booked an apartment over a month before planning to move in and planned a move-in date. When providing my application information and deposit they ASSURED me that it would hold my apartment to be available for move in.
I came in today to get my keys and sign the lease before moving in and they brought me to an apartment WITHOUT paid utilities OR central air. The apartment I was supposed to get was supposed to have BOTH. I clearly saw the unit on the wall so I asked about it after asking a few questions I finally got it out of them that utilities were also not provided...they would have never told me had if I didn't ask specifically.
I was NEVER notified that they were not able to provide the apartment type that I requested. They would not allow me to move into an apartment until something similar to what I asked for became available. They expected be to take that apartment since now that it is the end of the summer, end of my current lease, and most apartment complexes are full. I had all plans made to have a truck and movers booked for today, they offered nothing to account for all of the inconvenience/costs of rescheduling if I wanted to just wait for another apartment similar to what I asked for that will come available in 2 weeks. These were all reasons that they had on their side of giving me few options other than to take the apartment they gave me.
I did not sign the lease to get my keys and after knowing how they conduct business I really did not want to move in, but I knew my options were very slim for anything else. Surprisingly I called 3 apartment complexes and found one that also includes heat in rent, it's a lot nicer, had a great special for the rest of this month, and is located in a better area. It's called Green Brier.
I think God was looking out for me on this one because I felt liked I dodged a bullet by NOT moving into Spice Tree. They are a good price for the size and location, but please take my advice and DO NOT live here if you don't have to because they definitely are shady and will continuously provide you with misleading to get you to move in.

I don't know what you're talking about. I went into Spicetree a week ago to get information and they have great deals on their apartments. I ended up renting a one bedroom for cheap and gas and heat were included. I think your talking about the one bedroom where nothing is included. They said it had base board heating? But they informed me of this right when I came in and they gave me a layout sheet of the one bedrooms that has a list of what utilities are included, you just didn't read the information, and that's your problem.
