Very noisy - small parking spaces - bugs that won't go away

When I was looking for apartments I was a grad student who needed quiet so I could study. When I moved in, I asked if there were kids around and was told that they were not allowed to answer that question. The people upstairs from me have a baby <1 yr old who cries all night, and the people across the hall have a 3 yr old who screams early in the morning and all weekend. Sometimes I find him in the hall all by himself screaming.
The walls are so thin, I can hear the guy upstairs pee.
There is also a lot of freeway noise.
The parking spaces are way too small, if you had an escort you would not be able to open the doors all the way without bumping the cars next to you. When they resurfaced the lot I called to ask if they would be making the spaces larger and was informed that they are the maximum size allowed by Ann Arbor. Yeah right.
The first spring there was a problem with flies. Every night when I came home there would be a ton of them buzzing around the patio door and a ton of dead ones on the ground by the door. There weren't any in the rest of the apartment, just by the door, but there were a ton. This year there are ants in the kitchen, little ones, big ones, flying ones. They have sprayed 4x and still there are ants.
