No do not move here. It may seem great at first glance but it is not. The parking is horrible after like 7pm so if you come home later than that or have guest come later than 7, don;t move here. Also they are not as pet friendly as they claim. They do not use common sense in regards to dog barking complaints and expect that your dog should make no noise at all. Also apartment was very dirty when I moved in and lots of bugs get in from the outside as well.

I think this review makes no sense at all.
(1) It is very clean;
(2) Parking space is very large, so you can always find parking lots
(3) The staffers are pretty friendly;
(4) Actually dog friendly here.

I agree with the other responder. It is almost as if the original poster is talking about another place and *NOT* Spruce Knob.... Spruce Knob is extremely clean and well kept. There is always parking, though I preferred to park on the street merely because it was closer to my door. Maintenance is handled within the day (or early the next morning). The concerns raised about "pet friendliness" probably derive from the fact that McKinley, the owner of Spruce Knob and many, many apartment complexes in the Ann Arbor area, has had problems with certain aggressive breeds (such as pit bulls) and so McKinley as a whole does not allow them. Sadly, this means that a few breeds that could be very nice otherwise (such as Rottweilers, which are great with kids, btw) are not allowed, if I remember correctly. I get the feeling that the original poster had one of the breeds that was not allowed by McKinley policy.
