Decent place to live

I've been at Surrey Park for a year now, and have no major complaints. There has obviously been some changes in the past few years, but you get what you pay for in terms of the apartment - it is on the small end, with electric heating (a unit like in a hotel room) and poor insulation, which leads to high heating bills in the winter. But that balances out with low bills the rest of the year. You do pay for other utilities, but the management has recently put a cap on those. And we got a good deal with the rent, so it was comparable to living in Ypsi, and much cheaper than similar sized apartments in Ann Arbor. Management is very helpful, and maintenance is friendly and quick, in the few times i ever needed them. We are near 94, but I am not disturbed by the noise at all, and neighbors are nice and quiet. It's a decent place to live temporarily, although there are several old-timers who have been and will be here for a while. Also sidewalks and parking lots are cleared quickly in the winter. There's a little park and picnic area, which is nice for family and kids.
