I lived in the Highlands july-aug 2002-03 my last year in school. I thought it was great. Spacious floorplans and the maintainence was ON POINT! the grounds were always nice. Lots of students, but the way the building was made, i never heard the people who lived above me.
the trees around the pool could have been pruned a little better, but they're really tall so this would be hard to do. So they just cleaned it every day in the summer.
There was no exercise facility :( , but it is located close enough to walk the student recreation building, as well as a campus bus stop that is only not part of the route during the day in the summer.
Overall this was a great place to live, and i would move back there if/when' i return to Ann Arbor
