I lived at the Highlands for 4 years in 3 different apartments (a 2x1 with 1 room mate, a 1x1 by myself, then a 2x1 with 2 room mates) Maintenence staff was great, grounds were kept well. I never had any issues with any of my neighbors. They accepted cats. Laundry is within the facilities. They accepted packages (I think they still do...') One summer I had to leave and the management found a sub-let for me! Only issue with parking was that if you have a guest, without a pass they will get stickered without a guest pass. The manager (Christine) was great and did everything she could to help you out. Didn't realize there was a pool until I moved out :( 3 minutes from a Bursley-Baits bus stop, 5 minutes from NCRB, 10 minutes to the Music/engineering school. VERY reasonable on returning security deposit. If I ever moved back to AA, I would live there again.
