A fantastic place to live

Having rented apartments in Ann Arbor for ten years, I feel pretty confident in saying this really is one of the better places to live. The buildings are older, and suffer the wear and tear of time, but Mike and Marie do an outstanding job taking care of the complex and looking out for the tenants. Mike can often be seen driving around in his pickup, keeping an eye on the complex, plowing the parking lots in winter. He and his wife keep an extra-watchful eye out on apartments whose tenants are away travelling--all you need to do is advise the office that you'll be gone. Turnaround time on maintenance requests is EXTREMELY short. Speaking of maintenance, there is a third person to mention by name--Eddy. Eddy is a god. Eddy is the maintenance man for the complex. He is fast, efficient, and friendly. His crew of groundsmen is always on the job, making this one of the nmost visually appealing complexes in town.
The complex is definitely more convenient to North Campus than to Central. It's about a 15-minute walk from the former, and 30 minutes from the latter. Owning a car will obviate this problem (if you're dead set against walking around town), and the complex lies right along a major bus-line artery, so transportation can still be had to Central.
This is the only place I've lived in Ann Arbor where I've renewed my lease gladly. If I had more than two thumbs, Traver Knoll would receive more than two thumbs up.
