It Was a Nice Place to Live

The utility policy has recently changed. There is now a utility fee in addition to rent. Very little notice.
The parking lots are not well maintained in the winter. A notice was circulated to move cars to clear spots so plows could get access but the plows go through and don't touch the parking spaces. Potholes are becoming a problem.
Traver Knoll was like living in a park. With the change in dog policy the lawns are now filled with doggie landmines. Buildings seem to be filling up with large, aggressive, barking dogs. There doesn't appear to be a size limit.
Noise levels can be occasionally high. Nothing awful but I have had to close my bedroom window a few nights (after 11:00pm when I'm trying to sleep) either because of loud music coming from a parked car or people talking outside. Noticed a recent increase in wandering teens.
I find the doors on our building often propped open. I don't like that. There's a reason we have doors.
The staff has been nice but I haven't really needed anything. Communication is good and everyone is friendly. People seem to care about what they're doing. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

in regards to the "new basements"....they still leak, are not maintained, paint is peeling and overall they truly look worse than before the "do-over"

We do hear dogs, living in our building. Moreover, we can't enjoy our patio anymore, because these dogs are running around without muzzles and barking. They also leave plenty of excrements just under the windows.

The thing is they did a lot of stuff with drainage that we can't see. They did more than paint the walls and floors.

I see many more puddles in the basement now than I did during the previous years. I slipped and fell on one while doing laundry last week - maybe your building is different?

make sure you clean the inside of your oven (?) spotless before you move out ($50 cleaning fee). Also make sure you mark down everything that is wrong with you apartment before you take residence in it ($200 charge for "bent screen"...when have I ever touched the screen? Never.). We lived here for years and recommended it to others, and we got $250 taken out of our pockets. Suck.

I agree with more of the negative posters/reviewers on this site. The positive posts seem to be far and few between. Lucky residents!!!
