We're very happy with our experience here. Those who aren't getting along with management or are having maintenance issues apparently don't possess social skills. We've had nothing but great experiences with the new management (especially Shelby) and have never had to wait for maintenance. Sometimes they just stop by to make sure things are going well. As for the construction and related landscaping woes: updating the complex and fixing longstanding problems are never convenient and rarely tolerable, but are completely understandable - and by the way, complete. All without rent increases. Like others have said, this is the best value in Ann Arbor - spacious, quiet, great neighbors, safe, and charming - and I for one am glad, as a pennypinching student, to not have to pay for air conditioning or heat, water or trash. Wish there were washers and dryers in the unit, but a walk downstairs or through the parking lot is good for your health.

I just signed a lease here. Everything in the apartment is new, and I, for one, was very excited that I don't have to pay for the gas heat and the A/C. It was the only older complex near north campus I saw that was keeping the buildings in good shape.
