I lived here 4 years. I moved out only just because I found a new job outside Michigan. Based on my experience (I lived in Ann Arbor for 13 years), this place is the BEST apartment in Ann Arbor. CONVENIENT: 20-minute walking distance to the North Campus, 30-minute walking distance to Ann Arbor downtown (Kerry town), 5-minute walking distance to the Northside elementary school and the Leslie Golf course, a bus stop just outside the apartment, 10-minute walk to a reliable auto repair shop at Shell on Plymouth. SPACIOUS: almost-a-room walk-in closet, a large balcony, spacious storage in the basement, etc. NICE: Office and maintenance stuff are very nice (they smile and look happy). A maintenance guy is very nice and reliable; he once kindly gave me a jump-start when I needed it.
I admit this is an old complex. But it is very well maintained, and when arepair is needed, you call the office, and they fix the problem right away. I also admit that a floor is a bit squeaky. You may easily locate a person above you (if you live in the ground floor). But as long as a person above sleeps at night, this is not a problem. Also, I admit that parking space is limited. But your friends can come over. People just need to park their cars a bit farther than usual. Yes, the rent is a bit higher than other places. But it is definitely worth, for the reasons I mentioned above.
Among many apartments I have lived in Ann Arbor, this is the only apartment I felt happy. I'm not a kind of a person who gets excited about fancy exercise rooms or media/business centers, cathedral ceilings, etc., but rather I just want to feel happy, living in a happy community. ( In fact, when I first moved here, I was in the middle of a 1-year contract with VG. I was very happy to pay a penalty to break up the lease. ) In a happy community, a trouble doesn't really look like a trouble.
You'll live in an apartment, you have to pay a rent anyway, who would you like to pay it to' I chose Traver Knoll.

No, it is not written by a staff member.
I really lived there for 4 years, and I was really happy.
So, I wrote this review.

So lucky---- you moved out in time indeed. I made a bad decision of renewing my lease. Noe, the leasing office is always failing to get their job done, and the staffs in the leasing office are becoming ruder and ruder.
