Like many of the previous posters, I was living in Traver Knoll when Mike and Marie ran it--and I loved them! I've tried giving the new management a chance, and I've tried being patient with them... but I get really tired of all the excuses I hear from them and how long it takes to do certain things. I don't like being "that person" who continually follows up on something that needs to be done to my living space as well as their lack of follow-through. I honestly haven't had *that* many issues, so I expect my issues to be dealt with in a timely, professional manner. Also, their "policies" seem to change on a whim to best suit them and seemingly screw the tenant.

Bottom line: I like living here, and I love my apartment.... but unfortunately, I have to deal with management which I feel is subpar. The management is certainly my biggest con for living here.

While I would recommend living here, I think future tenants should be aware of what they are getting into.

Positives:
Spacious apartments with lots of closet space
Basement storage
Laundry on-site
UM discount (MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM!!!)
Grounds are nice

Negatives:
No covered parking, and parking can be limited at times
Not all areas are well-lit at night--maintenace doesn't seem to care that the lighting outside at night is limited.
No bike racks
Management/Maintenance is slow at making repairs.
Management is slow in following up on tenant issues.
Management is not courteous and always making excuses.
Management (and maintenance) are incompetent.
While I'm a dog lover, there are LOTS of dogs in the complex now (another new management rule change), and lots of big dogs, too.
Policy changes which include changes in rent and leases (other than the standard annual rent increase) aren't shared willingly with the tenant (Am I getting taken advantage of''')
Noise level: I live on a second floor apt, and I know my floors creak, so I try to be conscious of my downstairs neighbor.
