Not If I Were You

I have lived here for approximatley 8 months now, and I'm very glad I signed a nine month lease.
Firstly, the place is a pigsty: the hallways are filthy as are the elevators (which are used to haul the trash). The apartments are in poor condition: dirty drop-tile ceilings, un-sealed windows, uneven floors, decrepit appliances.
Secondly, noise is a huge problem. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear the conversations, actions, and music of your neighbors. It is very frustrating.
Thirdly, it is overpriced. Maintenance is slow and poor.
Finally, beware the leasing staff, they make promises to repair items before you move in and do not follow through. They will say anything to lock you into a lease. Don't be mesmerised by the view, it is not in the least worth it (I am on a 'premium' floor as well)
