Positive Reviewers for UTowers are quite possibly the shady management

I lived in UTowers one year ago, and I would have to say it was the worst place I've ever lived. If you really can't find an apartment besides this complex, just live in the dorms again! When we looked here, the management all seemed very courteous and helpful, but the lady showing us the apartments also pretty much pressured and worked the magic of fear over not being able to find someplace else to live in order to get us to sign the lease. I lived on the 11th floor with 3 other guys crammed into this tiny piece of crap. Elevators would bust down, my roommate got a noise violation for testing out his new speakers a whole one time while the neighbor who phoned the complaint in fought all night with his girlfriend at 3 in the morning before finals. Mold grows rampant and unchecked in the showers, my desk was broken when I got it, we kept the window open in the winter to keep the unbearable heat down, and the air conditioner did little more than spew dust and mold. We tried to get this fixed multiple times, but they just told us that it worked fine. This was simply not true but I imagine a new air conditioner unit would be too much to ask for in this cheap project. Refrigerator is small and crappy, the noise from morons on the street is at times unbearable, oven sucked, and at the end we were charged for broken blinds that I specifically wrote down as broken on the sheet at the beginning. The pool is not clean, I believe ducks lived in it. One time my old girlfriend visited me and left her car in the tow-away zone for about 5 minutes, and by the time we went to move it, we watched it being towed down the street with a 250 dollar fine! There is quite literally a tow truck trolling the zone at all times in order to make money off the people who park there out of pure necessity for things like unloading groceries. All in all, find someplace else.
