I ended up living in Valley Ranch very suddenly, because I took over a lease for someone when it happened to be convenient for both of us. I have lived here for 7 months so far and my time is almost up. The apartment is gorgeous, nice fixtures and cabinets, and the maintenance is great. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a maitenance call, and none of them were emergencies. They are VERY pricey though, some of the most expensive in Ann Arbor. The area is great because it is all expensive apartments and homes, and it is very close to Saline. The only problems I have noticed is that my part of the complex is right near the freeway (I-94 is at the end of my parking lot). In the far bedroom of the apartment closest to the freeway, you can hear it at night, even with the window closed. In the winter, the far bedroom was also drafty. The clubhouse is great, especially the indoor/outdoor pool. Everything is extremely well kept up, the lawns are always mowed and parking lots are repaved, etc. The staff has been extremely helpful and nice. Overall, if you have the money, Valley Ranch is a great place to live.
