Definately not worth the money

The grounds are kept nicely and they're in a good area but the apartment itself is something less to be desired. Not updated, old applicances, worn carpeting. There is no buzzer or intercom system for the second floor apartments. The apartments have an alarm system but for a fee. They offer storage but for a fee. The common areas need a good cleaning and repainting. Maintenance is prompt but when a repair is needed, the bare minimum is done or it's "rigged" instead of doing it correctly the first time or replacing it. The dryer never worked right, takes two or three cycles to dry completly. The utility bills are outrageous. The water bill was never below $40/month. Yes, you have to pay water. Heat and electric was very high especially in the winter and the apartment was cold. The inefficient washer/dryer and diswasher adds to the expense. I never used the fireplace because the bill was too high as it is. The management staff is friendly and there were no problems until in February when the office was broken into and a set of master keys stolen. Residents weren't informed until three days later after 4 apartments were broken into. They then re-keyed all the apartments. You can definately find much nicer places in Ann Arbor for the same money or less.
