Nice, but pricey

I've lived here for a year and didn't have any significant problems. The problems I did have were handled well - ants, no hot water, etc. The few times I spoke with the office staff my complains were handled well.
The amenities are great here, volleyball, tennis, spa, pool, sauna, pool table, etc.
The highway noise is a bit annoying, but that should be obvious when you move in. Don't rent in building 39 or 40, which are directly on the expressway. I haven't had any problems with neighbors. Most of the complaints on here seem to be about other residents and Village Green doesn't have a whole lot of control if parents let the pool babysit their kids or if people walk loudly... jeez relax people... u want to live like a hermit go rent a house.
They tried to fix the gate entry system and it was working for a while, but the residents kept forgetting their cards and busting the gates down with their car... nothing Village Green can do about that.
Now the DOWN SIDE... PRICE. This place isn't cheap... it is nicer than many other places, but I would not recommend it for a 30 professional unless married. This place seems to be mostly younger single people and families. The requirement of Renter's Insurance is a little annoying, as is the high water charge.
So overall I would live here again, but would definitely look around for someplace else as well.
