I have lived at Village Green for 2 years and can't believe that there are so many criticisms of the management. I have never had a problem with having things fixed/replaced when required. I just had my carpet replaced with minimal disruption (it took 2 hours and I didn't have to move my furniture!). Repairs are done quickly and there is someone available 24-7 for emergency repairs. The rent is a little steep, but that's Ann Arbor in general. The maintenance staff is reliable and the lawn is cut at least weekly. Make sure you at least look at the complex if you are thinking of renting. Most of the reviews here don't do the place justice! The management recently has made a very concerted effort to make improvements. The security gates are closed by 7pm. The clubhouse is locked (but available, by card, to tenants) after 7pm as well.
